Welcome to the new London Children's Film Festival, a city-wide cinema feast for London's children, families and young people which arrives at a cinema near you for twelve days from Wednesday 9 November. Bursting with previews and premieres of new UK releases together with feature films,
documentaries and animations old and new from around the world, the LCFF is your annual London showcase for the best of world cinema for young audiences.

Discover the work of filmmakers from Mexico, India, South Africa, Japan, Iran, Sweden, Ireland, Korea and more, in stories of the lives, loves and adventures of children and young people in different cultures. Without the LCFF you'd never see most of these films - they won't appear in cinemas, on TV or on DVD.
Dance in your seat to Mad Hot Ballroom, fly far away with Lepel, investigate the science of first love in The Colour of Milk, make a friend of a cheeky ghost in Pak Pak Pakaak and run to the rescue with Gerda in The Snow Queen.

Never has there been a film festival for children in London on this scale before with so many opportunities to join in. It's a whole new world of watching films for you to choose from - dive in and enjoy!

Keep an eye out for our fantastic Festival Patrons Big LCFF thanks to all of them for their time and enthusiasm - the brilliant Jenny Agutter, Floella Benjamin, Hildegard Bechtler, Jim Broadbent, Simon Grant, Bernard Hill, Mark Kermode, Beeban Kidron, Samantha Morton, Sophie Okonedo, Clive Owen, Bill Paterson, Trevor Phillips, Mohini Sule, Meera Syal and Catharine Tate.
