In a small Swedish town, fourteen-year-old Emma is growing
out of the childish pursuits of her classmates, and decides
to go to a party thrown by friends of her older brother.
Encountering the new challenges of drink, drugs and sex,
she passes out drunk and suffers a sexual assault. The experience
profoundly changes both Emma and her brother, who blames
himself for not protecting her. However, the resulting family
conflict is balanced by a sense of hope as Emma builds a
new relationship with skateboarder Aron. The hand held camerawork,
presents the story in a sharply realistic frame as the four
different directors wittily examine the sometimes painful
journey to early adulthood.
