Young audiences in film festivals around the world have been enchanted by this award-winning fantasy tale. 10-years-old and full of imagination, only Emil can see that the new stranger in town is actually a pelican, who has taken on human form in order to understand us better. Emil and Pelicanman find adventure in their small town and help each other through a series of increasingly daring escapades... It's not always easy to be the new pelican on the block.

This film is part of the LCFF's Official Selection

and here are the reviews from the LCFF's First Light Young Jury:

My favourite part is when the Pelicanman puts his shoes in the fridge (to keep them cool).
Michael, 11

I liked the way that the film showed how the man was really a pelican, by showing his feathers through a screen and showing his reflection with a long pelican beak in water.
