PREVIOUSLYAsahi's father very kindly got us a room in the Capitol Tokyu Hotel right opposite the Japanese prime ministers residence. Built in the 60's, it has accomodated both the Beatles and Michael Jackson and his chimp. Noticeable were the numbers of important looking businessmen with younger women. A couple of weeks later it was due to be knocked down and rebuilt in 2010 - so this particularly fine view to the office opposite no longer exists. |
