PREVIOUSLY

Just outside the back of Matsue castle there was a small overgrown pond hidden in the trees. A shaft of sunlight was illuminating this Heron, so I crept round the side to try and take a picture. The heron noticed me and flew to the other side, so I followed it again a bit more carefully. Almost immediately it caught quite a large fish and flew back to the other side again.
